Coffee, Cookies, Coupons and Communing

The Shelby County Salvation Army invites you to come every Tuesday at  6pm to clip coupons, share them, trade ideas & mention sales you’ve seen. Coffee & cookies provided. We’ll sit around a table & spread our coupons to swap (my toilet paper for your hot dogs…or whatever). We’ll also add in demonstrations on different things: couponing organization strategies, making your own laundry soap, etc. This will take place at the Alabaster location @ 108 Plaza Circle, Alabaster. Anyone is welcome, so come and enjoy some fellowship and save some hard earned money.

Here are some resources to get your coupons:

The Newspaper: Of course, a tried and true method. Sunday’s will normally bring your largest selection, but always be on the look-out.

Go online:Perhaps the best way you can find coupons to use for specific products you like to buy often is through online sites. Oftentimes, manufacturers offer coupons for specific products that you like, and you simply go to that manufacturer’s site and print that specific coupon off.

Free coupon sites:Still other ways to save money online is to access free coupon sites with, for example, grocery store coupons. Some grocery coupon sites include Couponcodesbulletin.com, couponmom.com, and wow-coupons.com. (By the way, it doesn’t really matter what you want to shop for. Simply typing keywords like “grocery store coupons” into your favorite search engine or others that better fit what you want to look for will bring up sites that have coupons you can use.

In essence, coupons give you free money, because they don’t require much effort at all to use; you simply have to do just a little research via a search engine if you’re buying online, and you’ll need to keep an eye out for specials and coupons for are the other types of shopping you do. If you have any questions you can call 205-663-7105.
